Day one: Classroom-based

45 min. Introduction to program

(Students receive hand-out and see short film)

30 min. Break with farm-grown snack

1 hr. Workshop: Life story of a lunch

1 hr. Chef workshop and lunch

45 min. Curriculum module on sustainable farming

15 min. Break

1 hr. Organic fruit and vegetable games and quiz

End of day (Students take home fun assignment: 'Where did my food come from?')

Day two: At the farm

Day starts at 8:00 a.m.

Enroute: Curriculum module: 'So where did my food come from?'

30 min. Arrival and meet the farmers

1 hr. Make your own lunch workshop

2 hr. Farm tour and activities

30 min. Seasonal fruit tasting workshop

End of day (Students receive farm-grown snacks for the road)
